1.
Cover me now, my darkness of love The wind carries me high Back and forth, I want this to work The wind carries me high Under me now, my angels of flight Carry me high on wings of the night Blacker than hell and brighter than light When I am gone I hope you'll remember me Above me now, the blackest of clouds The wind carries me high Don't you hide, I will show you how The wind carries me high Under me now, my angels of flight Carry me high on wings of the night Blacker than hell and brighter than light When I am gone I hope you'll remember me A fire is dancing on the horizon The wind carries me high Clouds move fast and eagles fly on The wind carries me high Under me now, my angels of flight Carry me high on wings of the night Blacker than hell and brighter than light When I am gone I hope you'll remember me Under me now, my angels of flight Carry me high on wings of the night Blacker than hell and brighter than light When I am gone I hope you'll remember me

Can you feel the fire burning And do you like the ecstasy I can see your wheels are turning Come in the other room with me Get on down, get on down, get on down Now let's get to foolin' around Get on down, get on down, get on down And let's get to foolin' around Every day you see through me With just a single glance I always seem to be Looking for wild romance Get on down, get on down, get on down Now let's get to foolin' around Get on down, get on down, get on down And let's get to foolin' around I know you can read my mind You can see what I need This feeling is one of a kind Do you know what I mean Get on down, get on down, get on down Now let's get to foolin' around Get on down, get on down, get on down And let's get to foolin' around Let's get to foolin' around Let's get to foolin' around Let's get to foolin' around Let's get to foolin' around

about

Recorded between December 1994 - February 1995 with the band Gateway, which included a constantly changing line-up, where Michael Fairbrother was the only core member. In essence it could be considered Michael's first solo effort, with him performing lead vocals, all guitars, and songwriting, with all other members as "hired guns". The songs "Wings Of The Night" and "Foolin' Around" were aired on local radio programs in Syracuse, NY (100.9 KROCK, 95.7 WAQX, and 90.5 WBXL).
